We have a ton of love for our subway, and what better way to show off that love than by hanging a beautifully designed, limited edition, 11 Pantone® spot color print of every subway station signage up in your apartment.
The poster project was designed by crowdsourcing marketer Alex Daly and designer Hamish Smyth and builds on the work of famous designers in the City's past, such as Massimo Vignelli.
The beautiful simplicity and elegance of the New York subway system’s signage has been organised by Pantone colors and turned into artwork by designers and artists Alex Daly and Hamish Smyth. The poster chronicles a love affair with design and is officially approved by the MTA, an iconic design that should be remembered and celebrated ever since Bob Noorda and Massimo Vignelli created the originals back in 1970
The poster started as a Kickstarter campaign just 2 days ago, but has well surpassed their $30k goal, raising a quick $63,000 with over a month left to build on it's success.
