The Metropolitan Opera’s 2015 Summer HD Festival
Love the Opera, or looking for a chance to experience it? This annual summer festival features 10 free screenings of Met performances. This weekend’s performances include: Romeo et Juliette, La Traviata, Don Giovanni and Aida. All screenings can be seen at the Lincoln Center Plaza on September 4-7. Seaglass Carousel
Ride with the fish at the Seaglass Carousel! This 2,575 square foot structure houses over 30 fiberglass fish that are fitted with LED lights. You will be sure to get the effect of being underwater while finding your seat on an Angelfish, Clown Trigger Fish or a Clearfin Lionfish! Electric Zoo Festival
Send your weekend into a trance! Randall’s island will host some of the world’s biggest EDM acts all in one park. The lineup includes: Zeds Dead, Dirty South, Alesso and more. Brazilian Day
Brazil has made its way to NYC for this one day cultural event. Celebrate Brazil’s Independence Day with food and live outdoor performances. September 7th mark Brazilian Day’s 30th anniversary in NYC. This free event spans 25 blocks starting on in the heart of ‘Little Brazil’ on West 46th Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. NYC Unicycle Festival
Learn how to balance on a one wheeler or watch in awe during this event! Activities include races, competitions and exhibits.
