Blood Manor
If haunted houses are your thing, tremble your way through Blood Manor, the City's "Premiere Haunted Attraction."
This year's all-new attractions and chambers feature: The Crypt, Thunderdome, Mayhem and Hannibal's Hell where you will be terrorized by the undead, beasts and demons!
If you really want a scare, go to Lights Out Nights where you travel through the haunted house with just one glow stick per group.

Scary Movies 9
Give yourself an intellectual fright with a movie festival! The Film Society of Lincoln Center is celebrating Halloween with 12 of the best new titles, 80s cult classics, and classic scary movies.
Grab a buddy and a extra pair of underpants for these featured titles: Frankenstein, Southbound, The Gorgon, and The Last Winter.
The movies are running from October 30th through November 5th, 2015 with admission price varying from $9 to $14. Check out the event page for more info.
Boo at the Zoo
Looking for a family friendly treat for your little ghouls and goblins? The Bronx Zoo is holding its annual Boo at the Zoo event with a theme of Mystery and Mischief.
There will be music, magic and even hay rides for all. Kids can enter a costume contest, see 3-D carved pumpkins of their favorite animals, and even trick-or-treat around the zoo's lions and reptiles!
Available on weekends from October 3rd through November 1st, 2015, tickets range from FREE to $34.
New York Haunted Hayride
Jump out of your skin at the City's only Haunted Hayride!
The Haunted Hayride hauls patrons through a maze of demonic possessions, ghosts, evil clowns and creepy children! This attraction lasts about 30 minutes and is recommended for older children and adults.
Open from October 2nd through October 31, 2015, with tickets starting at $30.
