To honor fallen World War I soldiers from the Woodhaven area, 70 trees were planted in Forest Park nearly 100 years ago, at the end of the Great War.
Over time, the location and meaning behind these trees were lost to history, but were recently rediscovered and rededicated, just in time for Memorial Day.
