Against the Run, See Central Park's Newest Art Installation in Action

Back in August we told you about this interesting sculpture coming to Central Park called Against the Run that features a functional clock presented in a very unique way.

Against the Run, specifically conceived for the Central Park space, will see the clock face itself rotate counterclockwise, moving in direct opposition to the second hand, which will appear to stand still. The minute and hour hands will function normally, and the clock will always indicate the correct time despite simultaneously running in reverse.

In this video from our friends at Laughing Squid, we finally get to see the installed clock in action!

While walking around NYC’s Central Park today I came across a curious clock that has a face that rotates counter-clockwise as the minute hand moves forward and the second hand ticks to the vertical position.
