Aerial cinematography firm Heighten Cinematics recently created this amazing 4k video showing the sunrise over Long Island City, Roosevelt Island, Midtown Manhattan and the East River.

Since most people are familiar with the Manhattan skyline, we wanted to highlight the up and coming skyline of Long Island City, an area that's becoming increasingly gentrified, like many of the boroughs of New York, for better or for worse.
