Queens artist Jacob Hashimoto has a massive sculpture on display inside St. Cornelius Chapel on Governors Island. On view until October 31st, 2018, the installation includes 15,000 black and white paper kites arranged in the shape of moving clouds. Titled The Eclipse and Never Comes Tomorrow, the two pieces are meant to envelope viewers in a tangible, yet ever-shifting fog.
