Two beautiful newborn gorilla babies have made their public debut at the Bronx Zoo. The babies were born to two separate mothers just a few hours apart.
Bronx Zoo now takes care of a pack of 19 gorillas in their Congo Gorilla Forest habitat, the largest in the United States. These two new babies are the 16th and 17th born in New York.
Gorillas are among our closest relatives in the wild and that’s pretty clear watching ours. From cautious to playful to nurturing, each has a unique personality. It's always a thrill to see them interact.
