Check Out This 8-Month Time Lapse Showing the Massive Hudson Yards "The Vessel" Sculpture Rising

Last year, it was announced that a new mega-structure would be built as the center piece of Hudson Yards. Titled "Vessel", the Thomas Heatherwick-designed sculpture features 18 stories of climbable staircases, with each level wider than the one below it. In this video from our friends at 6sqft, see the incredible 8-month time lapse of the structure coming together.

Following eight months of construction, Thomas Heatherwick's 150-foot climbable sculpture "The Vessel" topped out in Hudson Yards. This time-lapse video from developer Related Companies shows the project from start to finish.
