YouTuber trainluvr recently came across a pile of old VHS tapes in the garbage of his/her apartment building and saved them, letting us get a glimpse into local television ads from 1977 through 1986. Check them out!
Some TV commercials related to NYC and Transit. […] The first 45 seconds gives samples of each ad in the line up. The Tic Tac ad features a young actor that was a classmate of mine in High School. The Pontiac Grand Am ad is a treasure representing the peak of the musical TV ad art form. There is a lot going in that one that simply could not fly today.
