886 is a new Taiwanese restaurant on St. Marks place in the East Village that is serving up modern takes on street and bar foods found on the island. In this video from our friends at Thrillist, take a peek at their massive spicy fried chicken sandwich and try not to drool all over yourself while doing so.
Named after Taiwan's country code, 886 serves a playful take on Taiwanese street food. One scroll through their Instagram geotag, and it will become apparent that one dish has become the ultimate go-to for diners -- The Notorious T.F.C. The massive spicy fried chicken sandwich is inspired by a sandwich Chef/Co-Founder Eric Sze fondly remembers sharing with his father, growing up in Taiwan.
