The Grand Central Oyster Bar, located on the lower level of Grand Central Terminal, opened in 1913 to much fanfare as a pleasant way to spend your time waiting for a train while at the station.
In this vintage photograph captured by Detroit Publishing Co sometime between 1913 and 1920, it is easy to see just how classy it once was.
