There are 76 restaurants in New York City which have earned at least one coveted star in the 2019 Michelin Guide. This winter's NYC Restaurant Week has 370 participating restaurants. Here is where those lists intersect.
There are eleven restaurants that appear on both lists, with ten of them earning 1 Michelin star, and one earning 2-stars… sort of.

2 Star Michelin Restaurants
Nougatine at Jean-Georges, American New, Manhattan, Upper West Side
Though technically not 2 stars, Nougatine at Jean-Georges does offer much of the same tasting menu as its 2-star Jean-Georges restaurant, and is located adjacent the restaurant.
Perhaps the best way to sample dishes from one of world-famous chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s menus without breaking the bank is by dining at Nougatine, an overlooked gem on the Upper West Side. Attached to Jean-Georges in Trump Tower, Nougatine offers a three-course lunch of fresh, dramatically inventive French food six days a week for less than $25.
1 Star Michelin Restaurants (alphabetically)
Ai Fiori, Italian, Manhattan, Midtown
Ai Fiori on 5th and 36th offers gourmet dishes from the French and Italian riviera in an elegant setting.

Bâtard, Modern European, Manhattan, Tribeca
Bâtard is a contemporary and upscale restaurant offering modern takes on European classics.
Winner of the 2015 James Beard Award for Best New Restaurant in America, Michelin-starred Bâtard continues Drew Nieporent's commitment to Tribeca, in the space that housed Montrachet and Corton. Chef Markus Glocker's modern European menu reflects his Austrian heritage and diverse experiences.
Café Boulud, French, Manhattan, Upper East Side
Café Boulud is an Upper East Side restaurant offering French / New American cuisine finely executed.
Daniel Boulud’s tribute to the original Café Boulud in Lyon, France, this version doesn’t evoke a sense of “town folk charm” like the original does, but it is quite comfortable and well appointed with murals of the French countryside, elegant place settings and even sidewalk seating. The avuncular clientele here enjoy the finely executed cuisine, and the standouts include the Hudson Valley foie gras, the braised octopus terrine and the English pea raviolini with bacon.
Casa Mono, Spanish, Manhattan, Gramercy
Casa Mono is a Spanish restaurant on Irving Place in Gramercy that serves up small dishes of delectable tapas.
Casa Mono and its attached tapas joint Bar Jamón, Mario Batali and Andy Nusser's love letters to Spain, are located near historic Gramercy Park and just steps away from the Union Square subway lines. Their kitchen has been awarded a Michelin Star each of the past five years, and features raciones of Catalan specialties as well as dishes from all corners of Spain. Casa Mono and Bar Jamón proudly offer a world-class, all-Spanish wine list that has been awarded Wine Spectator's Best of Award of Excellence for the past five years.
The Clocktower, American (New), British, Manhattan, Flatiron District
The Clocktower is an upscale restaurant in a club-like, Flatiron District setting that serves modern cuisine with a palpable U.K. sensibility.
The Clocktower, located on the second floor of the New York Edition Hotel (formerly the iconic Metropolitan Life building), is a collaboration between acclaimed restaurateur Stephen Starr and Michelin-starred British chef Jason Atherton. The chic 88-seat, David Rockwell-designed restaurant serves contemporary cuisine with British sensibilities, classic and contemporary cocktails, and a diverse selection of wines, along with local and global beers.
Gotham Bar & Grill, American New, Manhattan, Union Square
Gotham Bar & Grill is a New American restaurant steps from Union Square that offers seasonal menu items and exquisite desserts.
Towncars wait patiently outside for their passengers at this long-celebrated, elegant and inviting mecca for fancy (but low-key) New Yorkers. The menu is less adventurous than it once seemed, but chef-owner Alfred Portale’s execution is consistently spot-on. Seared foie gras melts on the tongue, the five-spice Peking duck breast revs up your taste buds and the miso black cod consistently delivers. Consider the $31 prix-fixe lunch, one of the best deals in town.
Junoon, Indian, Manhattan, Nomad
Junoon is a contemporary restaurant offering a modern and sophisticated take on classic Indian dishes using a wide array of spices and flavors.
"Junoon" is an Urdu word, also frequently used in Hindi, meaning "passion" or "obsession," and it's an indication of the dedication that went into this restaurant. In addition to the 100-seat restaurant is a 45-seat private dining area and a 50-seat cocktail bar and lounge. The refined menu covers all the bases of Indian cooking, from tandoor to cast-iron and open-fire-pit cooking to stone-searing. Highlights include lobster tandoori, Cornish hen with pomegranate and roasted cumin, and lamb shoulder with papaya juice and garam masala. Other unusual touches for an Indian restaurant: organic, sustainably raised ingredients and an impressive wine list.
The Musket Room, New Zealand, Manhattan, Nolita
The Musket Room is a unique, upscale restaurant in Nolita that provides a modern menu inspired by an era in New Zealand when adventure and discovery blossomed.
The Musket Room brings the spirit of New Zealand and the country’s diverse cuisine to Manhattan’s Nolita neighborhood. Chef and owner Matt Lambert, a New Zealand native, created a menu that charts the evolution of New Zealand cuisine, from the country’s Old World traditions and Asian influences to its modern day dedication to local and seasonal offerings. Inspired by an era in New Zealand when adventure and discovery blossomed, The Musket Room offers a modern approach to the country’s culinary past, serving dinner and drinks. The restaurant has received one Michelin star every year since opening in 2013.
Nix, Eclectic, Vegetarian, Manhattan, Union Square
Nix is a modern restaurant in Union Square that serves upscale vegetarian and vegan cuisine in a fun and unpretentious setting.
A vegetarian/vegan restaurant that celebrates the deliciousness of vegetables, from chef John Fraser and former Condé Nast creative director James Truman, Nix is the only veggie restaurant in the US with a Michelin star. Soft lighting and sensual design complement a menu that is both health-conscious and pleasure-driven, from citrus-and-chili accented jicama salad to shiitake "cacio-pepe" and cauliflower tempura with pepperoni spices and steamed buns. Seasonal fruits, herbs and spices inform an innovative list of cocktails and non-alcoholic sodas.
Tuome, American (New), Asian Fusion, Manhattan, Alphabet City
Tuome is a contemporary American and Asian-fusion restaurant in a small Alphabet City location that is filled with reclaimed, local materials.
Tuome is a critically acclaimed East Village restaurant by chef/owner Thomas Chen, whose ingredient-driven contemporary American menu showcases his classic culinary training with Asian influences. The menu features items like octopus with pork XO sauce; chicken liver mousse with New York maple; and crispy deviled eggs with chili; and larger dishes like chicken porridge with basil sauce, and fan favorite, Pig Out for two (Berkshire pork, spicy peanut noodle and condiments), along with sides like sticky rice with duck fat. Evoking the East Village's relaxed character, the intimate space showcases rustic reclaimed materials given a modern update.
Of course, there are many more great restaurants participating in this winter's NYC Restaurant Week and they shouldn't be overlooked, but these 11 above have been awarded at least one Michelin star and are offering discounted fares, so definitely check them out by making a reservation sooner rather than later!
