Earlier this year, the New York Public Library released a new e-reader app called "SimplyE" for iOS and Android devices that allows access to over 300,000 books, magazines, newspapers and other scans from their digital collection.
The New York Public Library just released SimplyE, a new app that gives NYPL cardholders the ability to browse, borrow, and read more than 300,000 e-books from the Library’s collections in just a few easy steps.
The NYPL SimplyE app is available for download on iOS and Android, and allows free digital checkouts with a NYPL library card.
