Up on the northern tip Manhattan, the Dyckman Farmhouse in Inwood is the oldest remaining original farmhouse in the Borough. Dating back to 1785, the house originally sat on 250 acres of surrounding farmland, but has since been reduced to just .5 acres, with a concrete City surrounding it completely. In this video from our friends at Curbed, take a quick tour of the museum providing a snapshot of 18th century rural New York life.
