Last month we wrote about how the City's LinkNYC WiFi kiosks were having their internet shut off on the embedded tablets due to an abundance of street porn, but it appears they are making an exception for this election cycle.
LinkNYC kiosks throughout Manhattan have been modified to encourage users to register to vote, with the tablet homepages now linking directly to the Department of Motor Vehicles’ electronic voter registration page.
If you are not registered to vote, you only have until October 14th to do so in New York State.
