Four Vintage New York City Buses Take a Field Trip to Governor's Island

Buses in the City have always played second fiddle to the subway system, but at least for one weekend this summer, 4 vintage buses had their time to shine.

The New York Transit Museum held a Vintage Bus Bash on Governors Island the weekend of July 11-12, 2015. Four of its fleet of restored, classic New York City buses were ferried across to the island where visitors had a chance to get an up-close look at them.
