You may already know that Queens is the most diverse borough in the City. But did you know that the neighborhood of Jackson Height is the most ethnically diverse neighborhood in Queens? You will find delicious tasty bits from all over the world, all next door to one another.
One of the tastiest joints in the neighborhood is Lhasa Fast Food, a small momo shop hidden behind a cell phone store. We first wrote about Lhasa last year, but now the editors from Eater have caught on and sent 'Dining on a Dime' host Lucas Peterson to check it out.
In this week's Dining on a Dime, Lucas Peterson ventures into the back of a cell phone store and finds Lhasa Fast Food, a tiny restaurant that serves delicious, hearty Tibetan food: spicy soups, hand pulled noodles, and momos, a kind of steamed dumpling.
