The World's Best 50 Bars list is an annual list that highlights and ranks drinking establishments around the world. It's no surprise that New York City is home to a large percentage of the list, and Nombler creator @drinks4jay recently compiled this great interactive map showing each one that has made the list since its inception.
This is a map of all the bars from World's 50 Best Bars list in NYC, past and present.
- Bars appear in the year that they were LAST on the 50 best list
- Bars that closed are not listed (RIP Milk and Honey)
- Only the top 50 are counted, even though the list extends to 100 in some years
- 2010, 2011, and 2015 did not have any bars that were not closed and that didn't win in a later year
