Last year, the internet went ablaze poking fun at the Looking for a Girlfriend flyers that started appearing around the East Village. The man behind it all is Dan Perino, a 51-year-old aspiring actor who is now claiming wild success from the flyer. He says he has fielded over 8,000 calls, even having to hire a secretary to help manage them all. According to Perino, those calls led to hundreds of dates and 181 hookups over the past year.
