The Lowline is an urban enrichment program that plans to place
a naturally lit underground park in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Originally based on the success of the
The High Line, co-founders Dan Barasch and James Ramsey have been
planning the park for several years. Check out Dan's excellent Ted Talk on the project.
This video highlights some of the tech behind the park, along with celebrity testimonials and endorsements meant to
