The Hillsong Churches is a popular, modern-day Christian church that has locations worldwide. The midtown Manhattan location of the church is so popular that is held in the 2,500 seat Hammerstein Ballroom. What makes the church so popular? For starters they operate more like a concert than a church service. Each service is packed with well-written and expertly produced musical selections. The Church also operates a record label which has sold over 16 million religious records worldwide. If you are the religious sort, you can attend a service at 4 different times every Sunday in midtown.
