MTA's Music Under NY Auditions Offer a Glimpse of This Year's New Musical Additions

We've mentioned the MTA's Music Under New York program a few times before on Viewing NYC, and for good reason. It rocks.

MUNY is 350 groups, musicians and singers that have the full stamp of approval to perform under the street in the subway stations, and it's diverse selection of groups is what really makes it entertaining. Where else can you catch an all female mariachi band one day and a world class percussionist the next, all for free?

The MTA's Arts and Design division that runs the MUNY program recently held auditions in Grand Central Terminal to fill 30 or so new spots for this years curated list of performers, check it out above.
