There is a theory floating around that during Hurricane Sandy, all the weak and slow rats in the City drowned in the floods, leaving behind only the super strong, super fast and super intelligent ones behind: the Super Rats. Though this theory has been debunked, I am still a holdout.
This pic of a rat scaling two Midtown garbage cans in a way that would make the Chinese Gymnastics Olympic team jealous is perhaps my most compelling piece of evidence for the existence of the New York City Super Rat.
