The New York Music Map is a cool interactive project from Kingdom Collective and illustrator Adam Hayes that is an attempt to capture the City's most significant music-makers by mapping their names out in the neighborhoods they started in.
The map is an attempt to capture New York City’s most significant music-makers. Some names will be there for all time; some may fade away as their novelty recedes. No-one’s perfect; we did our very best. Most people are in the right place, but there’s only so much space downtown
