Artist Gabriel Barcia-Colombo was recently commissioned by the MTA's Arts and Design program to create a 60 channel video installation at the newly opened Fulton Center in downtown Manhattan. Part of the installation includes this show motion video of ordinary New Yorkers doing ordinary things.
The installation will feature 60 extremely slow motion portraits of everyday New Yorkers doing everyday things. The installation seeks to point out the things we miss when we rush around the city in a frantic pace. The comical street interactions that help make New York such a unique city.
The music featured in the video is [Moby — "The Violent Bear It Away"](https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/the-violent-bear-it-away/id826344703?i=826344723%29.&ls=1&at=11l7j9&ct=viewingnyc&app=itunes
