Subway Symphony is an ambitious project from James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem in which he hopes to add musical chimes to the rotating subway turn-styles in order to produce beautiful music when all used together.
For nearly 20 years, LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy has dreamed of changing the harsh beeps of New York’s subway turnstiles into musical notes. Unfortunately, despite his best efforts, his idea has yet to get off the ground. But with the help of Heineken we are trying to make it happen.
Heineken caught wind of the project and is using their marketing machine to help get the project rolling. If you want to help, sign the petition to show your support for the project.
