Take an Amazing Video Tour of 1940's Coney Island

Even though Coney Island refers to an entire Brooklyn neighborhood and peninsular area, when most people talk about it, they are usually referring to the world-famous Luna Park. This video is no exception, giving a detailed review of the roller coasters, mermaid parade, sideshows, amusement rides and other attractions and amenities that made up the park. Luna Park opened up in 1903, so by the time this video was made in 1940, it was already quite popular.
