As if shot down to earth from the heavens, three massive arrow sculptures will soon be installed in Tribeca's Albert Capsouto Park.
The three arrows, created by Upper West Side sculpture artist Curtis Wallin, measure 22 feet, 15 feet and 9 feet and will appear to be sticking out of the ground as if shot into it from above.
The city-sponsored artwork will be on display in the triangular park at the intersection of Canal, Varick and Laight streets, beginning in April. They should remain on exhibit for about a year, Wallin said.
