The Perseid Meteor Shower is one of the most popular annual meteor events that we can observe on Earth. This year's shower is now over, taking place on Monday-Tuesday of this week, but you can still see it over New York City if you missed it live. Local pro photographer Scott Segler captured the 2-day event in this great sweeping time lapse video taken on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
