The MTA's Enhanced Station Initiative (ESI) is a project to renovate entire subway stations across all boroughs by replacing and modernizing subway entrances, maps, ticket machines, turnstyles, platforms and other station elements. The first of these ESI remodels are slowly being completed, with the newest one unveiled today at the Bay Ridge Av R Train station in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.
