The MTA's Enhanced Station Initiative (ESI) is a project to renovate entire subway stations across all boroughs by replacing and modernizing subway entrances, maps, ticket machines, turnstyles, platforms and other station elements. The first few of these ESI remodels are slowly being completed, with the newest one unveiled this week at the Prospect Avenue R Train station in South Slope, Brooklyn. Take a sneak peek inside with this video from the MTA.
The newest ESI station renovation reopens to the public on November 2, 2017 in South Park Slope, Brooklyn.
