At Jeepney, the Filipino restaurant in New York’s East Village helmed by chef Miguel Trinidad, a celebration means unfurling the the banana leaves and rolling up your sleeves. Twice weekly, the kitchen prepared a kamayan feast, laid out directly on the table for the guests to eat with their hands. Watch the video above to see the elaborate meal come together.
