Before DUMBO was home to multi-million dollar residential lofts, fancy restaurants, and upscale retail stores, it was an old industrial and manufacturing neighborhood. This vintage photograph from 1926 shows a bit of that historic neighborhood as we peer towards the Manhattan Bridge from the intersection of Washington Street and York Street.
