Old New York wasn't exactly the nicest place to be, let alone choose to visit from another country, but that didn't stop "Terry from Sydney" from visiting NYC in 1979 and capturing some great photos of the City. Gothamist recently compiled a nice collection of his digitized photos, showing of views from Times Square, the Village, Brooklyn, atop Skyscrapers, neighborhoods, and more.
