This $300 million skyscraper, intended as a luxury residential building, became one of New York City's biggest construction failures due to a lean of a few centimeters. Today, the tower remains unfinished, a "monument to high stakes real estate gone wrong". Fixing the foundation would be extremely costly, selling the property is difficult, and demolition would be an admission of complete defeat.
