[WATCH] Take a Peek at the MTA's Massive Floodgates Installed to Protect Subway Tunnels from Hurricanes

Seven years ago, super storm Sandy dumped millions of gallons of corrosive salt water into New York City's subway stations and tunnels, a problem which we are only beginning to repair today. Along with repairing electrical lines, track and other elements damaged by the water, the MTA is installing massive 25-ton floodgates to seal up some tunnels and prevent this sort of damage in the future.
