New York State recently passed a law that allows dogs to legally join their owners at any restaurant that has an outdoor space such as a patio or terrace.
In this video from Zagat, New York diners, restaurant employees and owners sound off on the new law, and its not all puppy love.
The law, first introduced by New York State assemblymember Linda B. Rosenthal, is a hit with many pet owners, but not every New Yorker is on board with the idea of eating alongside animals. Should dogs be allowed at restaurants, or are they better off left at home?
