Enjoy Caribbean cuisine, arts and crafts, and island fashion accessories at the West Indian American Day Carnival coming to Brooklyn from September 1st to 5th.
Under the motto, “One Caribbean, One People, One Voice,” the carnival will culminate in a costume and music filled New York Caribbean Carnival Parade along Eastern Parkway.
The events leading up to the parade on Labor Day are the Reggae Unda Di Stars with Third World, Luciano and others; the Stay In School Concert and College Fair; the Brass Fest Concert with headliners KES The Band, Roy Cape All Stars and more; 12 bands battling in the Steelband Panorama and breathtaking costumes and music performers at the Dimanche Gras show.
