New York City's biggest architectural spectacle, Open House NY is returning on October 15th and 16th. Now in its 14th year, the Open House hopes to bridge this gap and allow the public a rare glimpse into the privately owned and operated buildings of architectural significance.
Among the locations this year will be the construction site of the New York Wheel on Staten Island, one of the former Wonder Theaters in Queens, the also under-construction Pier 17 site, and the Metropolitan Opera House at Lincoln Center.
A full list of sites will become available on OHNY’s website on October 5th, and while most sites can be visited free of cost, some need advance reservations at a cost of $5 per person.
