[WATCH] Meet Jupiter Joe, the New York City Subway Astronomer

Jupiter Joe is an astronomer who takes to the New York City subway to help teach kids and adults about the planets and stars, for free. With his tracking telescope, Joe sets up on above-ground subway platforms, bus stops, and other public transit areas in the City, allowing anybody to take a look at what's above.

Most of us spend most of the time looking down at our phones. But Jupiter Joe wants to change that - in NYC, he’s drawing people’s eyes to the sky. And right from the convenience of the subway.
